

Welcome to our self-catering holiday home in the Italian Alps, a stunning 3 storey house with unimpeded views of Lake Barcis and the surrounding mountains. The 100 year old house is set on the banks of Lake Barcis in Friuli, in the heart of the Italian Dolomite Alps in Northern Italy. Recently renovated to the highest standard and still maintaining many original features of the region, including exposed wooden beams, wood burning stove and period bedroom furniture, the house can accommodate 6-8 people. It is the perfect property choice for a sun, ski, outdoor or relaxing holiday in Italy.
Barcis has a long history and is built on the banks of the ancient Cellis river. Today the traveller can enjoy a lovely stroll through the Prescudin forest directly opposite Bella Vista and then retire for a coffee or a glass of wine while viewing the Palzzo Centi (17th century Palace). The region features the Alps, the Adriatic sea and the finest vineyards in Italy. A great variety of fine dining, local culture, art, history and recreational activities such a cycling, skiing and hillwalking are all at your fingertips.
